Form the independent nonprofit, complete governance and financial controls, and document any proposed founder-equity dedications.

Complete The Deer Trail
Prepare the rough cut, campaign screenings and final feature-length music documentary with Jackson Averett.

The Final Countdown
Bring the film into the Billy Loves Willie campaign through screenings, music, gatherings and conversation across Asheville.

Launch Hollow Bone
Move the initiative from formation into public life with programs, a sanctuary strategy and a durable participation model.
Leadership + stewardship
BUILD THE STRUCTURE THAT CAN HOLD THE WORK.
Stephen Sedmak, Joda Williams and Craig Rose are the founding stewards. The formal council and board are still taking shape.
The initiative is seeking three to five founding council members who will do more than lend their names: people prepared to help establish the organization, raise the initial $222,000 and hold the mission for generations.
Potential council members are invitations under consideration, not confirmed appointments. Governance and any founder-equity language remain proposed or exploratory until final legal documentation is complete.
